Baseball Agility Strength Explosion
Baseball is a Team game composed of different, individual position groups. Each position requires a precise coordination of different muscle groups along with special skill sets to performance at the highest levels. Unfortunately, baseball players are some of the most asymmetrical athletes due to genetic handedness. With this understanding, it is imperative that Baseball performance training becomes more specialized.
Overall, the loading force supplied by the body is broken down by muscle groups
Hips/legs - 500 lbs
Trunk - 300 lbs
Arm/shoulder - 200 lbs
Total force production - 1,000 lbs
Based upon this breakdown, it is very important to address all muscle groups specific to the position. In addition, we will ensure that all muscle groups are activated to perform in multiple planes and directions.
